This work is based on the idea that reality is an ambivalent structure, a mental frontier between things. An undefined border separating concrete and elusive fields, materiality and the invisible. It can also be described in a poetic way as our soul’s inner struggle between peace and animality, between light and darkness. The photographs address questions of individual being, relationships, society, environment and mental pollutions and prejudices. Ultimately, allowing the viewer to meditate on the delicacy, vulnerability and the state of constant change in which all things exist. There exists a moment in time of absolute suspension, a moment which is neither still nor moving, a moment that is independent of time. Yet it relies on the passing of time to be reached. My photographs transcend this moment between time, to create structures that are both immobile and free.
